    Brazilian Health Devices 2014 events have started

    After 2013 being a successful year, the Brazilian Health Devices Project starts 2014 craving the mark of $ 891 million in exports for this year: ‘The companies participating in the project should reach $ 214 million,’ predicts Paula Portugal, exports managerat ABIMO

    In order to reach this goal, several events are going to be taken throughout the year, in Brazil and in the world, with participations in major international trade shows of medical and dental equipment, from January on.

      Arab Health, the world second largest exhibition in Health care sector and the leading fair of medical facilities in the region, is going to be held from January 27th to 30th   in Dubai.


    The trade show has recorded a growing importance to the Brazilian industry and has become an obligatory event for manufacturers that aims to export. In the 2013 edition, through a survey conducted by ABIMO with potential customers from 32 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, 91 % of participants considered Brazil a global player of medical Devices industry and 70 % of this group of people rated Brazilian products as of good quality.

    Last year, over 110,000 visitors came to Arab Health and 2,500 meetings were registered in the Brazilian Pavilion, with clients from 74 countries. The 36 participating companies closed more than $ 12 million in business resulting from the participation in the exhibition

    This year, the space will feature 38 exhibitors and the business forecasting is around $ 15 million in business as a direct result of the exhibition. Two Brazilian companies will also be at MEDLAB –Laboratory trade show that occurs within the Arab Health.
